Chris Douglas is a consultant, coach and trainer and has been affiliated with A&R Consulting since 2004. He presents on topics such as "Influential Leadership", "The Art of Productive Conflict", "Improving Performance under Stress", "The Power of Effective Communication" and "Building Effective Teams" for a variety of organizations including IBM, Dell Computer, and Motorola, and has presented segments as part of IBM's highly regarded Leadership Excellence University program. Having studied human dynamics and organizational development for over 20 years, he brings knowledge and understanding, as well as warmth and humor to the material he presents. He focuses on assisting teams and organizations dismantle counterproductive patterns and achieve greater success. In this process, Chris utilizes a wide variety of engaging, participatory team building games. Delivering the highly effective MAZE game is a specialized expertise of Chris.
He received a Master’s Degree in Psychology in 2003. Chris has traveled extensively and has lived and worked in Europe and Asia. He is a private pilot, a woodworker, a photographer, an actor and has pursued adventure sports including white water kayaking, scuba diving, rock climbing and mountaineering. He is currently based in Austin, Texas.
