George Fleming

George Fleming is a consultant, coach, and trainer who helps individuals and organizations thrive by tapping the authentic potential of the individual. He specializes in helping individuals and teams to accelerate their growth and achievement through transformational leadership and team development. George’s core competencies include his assisting clients achieve tangible, measurable goals while experiencing profound personal transformation. While the goals may include improved performance, visionary and effective leadership, or overcoming individual and organizational barriers, the path he takes to achieve these goals is not typical. Clients achieve their goals through expanded awareness, shifts in unproductive patterns, clearly seeing and overcoming their blind spots, and greatly expanding their sense of what’s possible. As a result, both the organization and its individuals are transformed.

George began his career in technical marketing at General Electric followed by several years managing the branding and marketing for several Fortune 500 corporations, including Hewlett-Packard, Lucent Technologies, American Express, and Amazon.com. He served as their strategic and creative partner by leading integrated marketing efforts that utilized competitive analysis, target research, audience segmentation, product positioning, branding, advertising, and direct marketing. In 2000 George founded his consulting and coaching company, InsightAction, focusing on leadership development and executive coaching at smaller organizations, and affiliated with A&R Consulting in 2006. George earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering with honors from North Carolina State University in 1987. He completed his professional coach training at Coaches Training Institute (accredited by the International Coach Federation) in San Rafael, CA. He then earned his Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in 2003. George Fleming lives in North Caroline with his wife and son.
